Hello, friend! What a wonderful week last week was :) We loved welcoming ya'll back and getting back into the swing of things. Time off is always nice but I do love a routine. 

Hot Cross Buns are back! We'll have some available for walk-ins every day this week and next, but definitely recommend preordering as inventory will be limited. Grab a six-pack of either fruit or chocolate hot cross buns and enjoy one with a nice cuppa. 

Our community food pantry is looking a little bare, which tells us the rising costs of everything are starting to hit folks in our community again. If you are able, we would be greatly appreciative of any shelf-stable donations you can spare. Proteins, pastas, canned vegetables, and kid-friendly fun snacks seem to be the most popular items. We can also accept cash donations if you'd like to contribute that way, and Sophie will stock up at Costco weekly. 

If you've got a spare moment today, we'd love your help with something! Nominations are also open for SACurrent's Best of 2026 program, and we'd be honored if you nominated us for Best Bakery! Nominations can be made daily here through May 1st. Be sure to nominate all of your favorite local businesses! 

Preorders are open now at our usual preorder site. Even if something isn't on the preorder menu, shoot us a message as soon as possible if you know you want 6 or more of it. The goal is to sell out daily, so we plan our production numbers with that intention and large, unexpected orders can sometimes throw us off for the rest of the day. We'd love to prep extra just for you!

Brioche Cinnamon Rolls are available daily as always. This week's specialty roll is an Blackberry Poppyseed Roll. We're going to make a delicious blackberry lime jam and add some of our poppyseed filling, too, for a lovely roll to welcome in spring. They'll be topped with our cream cheese icing and a touch of lime zest! 

 Kolaches are available daily, too, and they'll be warm and waiting for you all day and half price after 12:30pm. We'll also have some Sourdough Breakfast Buns and hopefully Bostock on Saturday! We make our bostock with unsold cinnamon rolls that we freeze throughout the week, so if we get surprised with large orders, we may not have any. 

We will have Hot Cross Buns available every day this week and next, too! These are a spiced dough with cinnamon and cardamom and filled with either cranberries and candied orange peel or chocolate chips. Both varieties are topped with the traditional flour-paste cross before baking and then glazed with an orange glaze after baking. Come purchase individual rolls or preorder a 6-pack to get one free. 

We've got After School Snack Scones coming this week which are filled with peanut butter chips and diced apples, and we'll be making Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts. Muffins (available Thursday-Saturday) will be Cheesecake-stuffed Coconut Lime Muffins! Don't miss out.

We'll be making Chocolate Chip Cookies of course but we're also making Sugar Cookies with Buttercream Frosting and Strawberry Lemonade cookies. Preorder a box and stock up! Our cookies freeze really well.

For lunch this week, we'll have the usual grab and go sandwiches available  Friday, and Pizza slices will also be available Friday. Smoked Yellow Fin Tuna Salad Sandwiches are back Friday, too, for just two more weeks!   

Just don't forget: lunch items (sandwiches, pizza) aren't ready until 10:30-11am. Gives us time to finish up the morning's bake & switch gears to lunch prep.
